Refunds & cancellations

Pre-launch summary — full policy ships before checkout opens.

The short version

• Before your certificate is issued: cancel any time for a full refund. No quibbles.
• After a DVLA certificate (V750/V778) is issued in your name: the registration is legally assigned to you and cannot be "returned" — but talk to us, and we'll always try to help.
• If we can't supply your registration (e.g. it becomes unavailable): full refund, immediately, plus we'll help you find the closest alternative.
• Speed guarantee: if we don't start your transfer within one working day, your transfer service fee is refunded automatically.

Physical plates

Acrylic plates are custom-manufactured to your registration and can't be resold, so they're refundable only if faulty or not as described — in which case we replace or refund in full, your choice.

Your statutory rights

Nothing here affects your rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Personalised goods (like issued registrations and custom plates) are exempt from the 14-day cooling-off period once made or issued to you — which is why we make cancelling before issuance so easy.

How to request a refund

Email hello@regbolt.co.uk with your order reference. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5 working days.
